HLAA Grapevine Chapter

GRAPEVINE CHAPTER HLAA
Meets first Saturday of each month (except months in which our meeting date falls on a holiday weekend), with refreshments 10am-10:30am and program 10:30am-11:30am. We meet at the Just Off Main Coffeehouse in Grapevine, Texas -- see address and directions to the right  We have both CART (real-time captioning) and assistive listening devices at our meetings to be sure that everyone can hear.

What is HLAA?
The Hearing Loss Association of America is the nation’s largest organization for people with hearing loss. The Hearing Loss Association of America exists to open the world of communication for people with hearing loss through information, education, advocacy and support.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND DIRECTIONS

We will not meet in January, as our meeting date falls on New Year's weekend, so our next scheduled meeting is Saturday, February 6. Tamara Joyce-Wiley will be doing a program for us on "Raising a Child with Hearing Loss." Tamara brings a great deal of personal knowledge to this topic, as well as professional experience from the work she has done for hearing loss advocacy organizations. Please feel free to invite anyone you know who might benefit from this very informative and helpful program.

We meet at the Just Off Main Coffeehouse (picture top left) which is located next door to First Baptist Grapevine. The street address is:

 113 E. Texas St.
Grapevine, TX 76051

The coffeehouse is on your left just after you turn from Main Street onto E. Texas Street and before you get to the church. A big green awning runs the length of the building and "Just Off Main" and a couple of big coffee cups are painted on the front windows.
